Personal Profile

Rebecca is a Chartered Legal Executive, a Commissioner of Oaths, and an accredited member of Lifetime Lawyers. She specialises in various aspects of Private Client work, including Wills, Trusts, Probate, Tax, Elderly client issues, and the Court of Protection here at Hogans.

"I became a member of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2006 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute in 2008. I am also a Member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), which has now transitioned into the Association of Lifetime Lawyers. This organisation is an independent, national body comprising lawyers such as Solicitors, Barristers, and Legal Executives who provide specialised legal advice for older and vulnerable individuals, as well as their families and carers.

"I initially began my career as a junior in a Family Department but pursued further studies while working for a large firm of Solicitors in Sheffield. I started as a Will Writer, offering advice on Wills, Tax, and Trusts. Over time, I expanded my expertise to include Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection work, accumulating over 20 years of experience in Private Client services.

"Hogans has been appointed as Deputies for Property and Affairs by the Court of Protection for several clients, and I am responsible for the day-to-day management of these cases.

"I joined Hogans in 2009 and have found great satisfaction in working here. The close-knit, familial atmosphere of the Practice provides invaluable support."
