Daniela Maggioni

Daniela is a highly respected solicitor with extensive experience of family law having qualified in 2003.

Demonstrating a broad knowledge and ability to take on the most challenging and complex of matters, Daniela represents children in both public and private law family proceedings primarily on instruction from a range of Cafcass Children’s Guardians but advises and represents a range of clients.

​

Cases include very wide-ranging matters with complexities including significant non-accidental injury, complex sexual abuse or neglect and medical difficulties, regular instructions for deprivation of liberty and secure accommodation applications in the high court, adoption, wardship, cases involving multiple expert instruction and matters with international elements.

​

Daniela is able to use her wealth of knowledge and technical approach to matters to consider all aspects of a case and to ensure the best representation for her clients, some of whom are young people who instruct her directly.

​

As recognition of her experience, Daniela qualified as an accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Scheme. Daniela is also a member of north west charity Child Concern.  

​

Due to the breadth and complexity of matters which Daniela handles, she regularly appears before the District and Circuit bench as well as the High Court, expertly conducting both interim and final contested hearings.

Reported or interesting cases? Daniela acted for a young person who had been trafficked to England, and having navigated complex legal issues ensured her safe return back to her family to a non-Hague convention country.

When not in work, Daniela enjoys using her cooking skills (together with a glass of something nice), walking and spending time with her family and boisterous four legged friend.
