Diane is a member of Resolution, formerly known as the Solicitors Family Law Association, Resolution members follow a code of practice that promotes a non-confrontational approach to family problems. Members encourage solutions that consider the needs of the whole family - and in particular the best interests of children.
In 2002 Diane moved to work at Hogans solicitors and comments that "Hogans has always had a reputation for undertaking high quality work not only in the area of Family Law, including adoption, divorce, injunctions, separation but also in Mental Health issues."
Having joined the firm, Diane now assists and supports Johanne O'Beirne in areas of child care public law and private law proceedings. Whilst representing parents within private and public law proceedings, Diane also represents members of the extended family such as grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Diane has represented clients with learning difficulties and also mental health problems which has included instructions from the Official Solicitor when clients do not have capacity to deal with the proceedings.
